BUSINESS VOICE, HD AND HOSTED.

Hosted VoIP and SIP trunking for NYC small businesses. HD call quality, number portability, mobile softphone, and pricing that scales line by line. From $19.99 per line per month.

Why It Matters

The landline-replacement layer your phone system runs on.

Voice service is the dial tone, the part that connects your business to the rest of the world. A great phone system on bad voice service is unreliable. Cheap voice service on a great phone system still drops calls and clips audio. We pair real carrier-grade voice infrastructure with a phone system that's actually configured for your business.

The legacy way (analog landlines from the phone company) costs more and offers less every year. Hosted VoIP runs over your internet connection, scales line by line, and gives you features, mobile softphone, voicemail-to-email (add-on), multi-location, that landlines simply can't.

What's Included

Features in every voice plan.

HD Voice Quality

Wideband audio on every call where the far end supports it. Voices sound more natural and less compressed than a traditional landline.

Number Porting

Keep your existing business numbers. We handle the paperwork with your current carrier. Porting typically takes 7 business days with no service interruption.

Unlimited or Metered

Pick unlimited US & Canada calling for predictable monthly billing, or metered (per-minute) if your call volume is light. International is metered at per-country rates either way.

Mobile Softphone

iOS and Android apps. Your business number rings your cell; outgoing calls show your business caller ID instead of your personal number.

Voicemail-to-Email (add-on)

Available as a per-line add-on. Voicemails arrive in your inbox as audio attachments. No checking a separate voicemail box, no missed messages.

Caller ID & CNAM

Your business name (not "Unknown Caller") shows up on outbound calls. We register your CNAM with the major databases as part of onboarding.

Works With Cloud or On-Prem

Same voice service runs underneath a hosted cloud PBX or an on-premise PBX. You can switch system types later without changing carriers.

Scales Line by Line

Add a line for a new hire on a Monday and have it live the same day. No multi-week installs, no surprise contract renegotiations.

How It Works

From signed agreement to first call.

01

Scope

Number of lines, number of users, current setup. We confirm the right plan and any porting requirements. 15-30 min phone call or site visit.

02

Written Quote

Per-line or per-user pricing, hardware (if needed), porting plan, install timeline. No surprise fees on the invoice.

03

Build & Port

We provision your phone system, pre-configure devices, and submit port requests for your existing numbers. Porting runs 7 business days in parallel with the build.

04

Swap Day

Phones arrive pre-loaded. We coordinate the exact cutover window with you, usually 1-2 hours. By end of day, all calls run on the new service.

05

Live + Supported

Post-launch training, adjustments, and on-call support. Need a new user added? A new menu option? Call us, same-day changes for most requests.

Voice Service FAQ

Common questions from NYC business owners.

What is hosted VoIP and how is it different from a landline?

Hosted VoIP (Voice over IP) is business phone service that runs over your internet connection instead of over a dedicated copper phone line. The dial tone is delivered from a carrier's data center, not from a wire in the wall. The practical differences: no per-minute toll charges to most places, your number rings on your desk phone, your cell, your laptop, all at once, and you can move offices without changing your number. The downside: if your internet goes out, your office phones go out too, which is why we pair voice service with managed business internet and (for higher-stakes setups) a backup path.

Can I keep my existing business phone numbers?

Yes. Number porting is included and is one of the first things we do during onboarding. The process typically takes 7 business days. During that time your old service stays active, there's no outage. On port-completion day, the number flips to our service in the background, usually without anyone in your office noticing. We handle the paperwork with the losing carrier.

How many phone lines can I have?

No hard cap, we scale from a single line (one person, one number) up to 100+ lines for larger small businesses. The system can grow with you. Adding a new line is typically a same-day or next-day change, not a multi-week install.

What's HD voice and is it really better?

HD voice (wideband audio) uses a larger frequency range than traditional telephone audio, so voices sound clearer and more natural, closer to a video call than to a landline. The catch: both ends of the call need to support HD audio for the full benefit. Calls between two HD-capable systems sound noticeably better. Calls to an old landline or low-end mobile drop down to standard quality. All our IP phones support HD voice by default.

Does voice service include unlimited calling, or is it metered?

Both options are available, pick what fits your usage. Unlimited US and Canada calling is available on all standard plans for a flat monthly rate. If your call volume is light, metered calling (per-minute pricing) may be cheaper. We'll model both during the quote based on your actual call patterns. International calling is available metered at per-country rates either way. No surprise overage bills regardless of which option you pick.

Do I need a separate phone system, or does voice service include the system?

Our voice service includes a full phone system (PBX) by default, auto-attendants, ring groups, mobile softphone, the works (voicemail-to-email is a per-line add-on). You can choose hosted (cloud) PBX or an on-premise PBX; both run on our voice service. See the Phone Systems page for the full feature set.
