PLAYS NICE WITH YOUR STACK.

Phone-system integrations for NYC small businesses. Click-to-call from your CRM, screen pops on inbound calls, contact sync, ticket-from-call, and PMS-driven hotel workflows. Most integrations are included on the Business plan, no per-integration license fees.

Why It Matters

Your phone system should know who is calling.

A call that arrives without context costs time. Someone calls, you scramble to figure out which customer they are, what they bought last, what ticket is open. A phone system tied to your CRM or helpdesk puts the answer on the screen before you say hello. That's 20-30 seconds saved per call, every call, across your whole team. The math compounds quickly.

Integrations also flow the other direction. Click a phone number in HubSpot, the call goes out from your business line. Take a call, the contact record auto-creates if it's a new caller, the call gets logged, and a ticket opens if it needs follow-up. The phone system stops being a separate tool and starts being part of the same workflow your team is already in.

Eight Integration Categories

What we connect to.

Below is the complete list of native integrations available on LightningVoIP. If your specific system is not on this list, custom integration via REST API is available for most stacks.

The Catalog

Eight categories, one phone system.

CRM Systems

HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho, Odoo, Bitrix24. Plus custom CRMs via REST API. Click-to-call, inbound screen pop, contact sync, call-record logging.

Helpdesk Systems

Zendesk and Zoho Desk. Plus custom helpdesks via integration template. Convert calls into tickets, attach call recordings to tickets, click-to-call from any open ticket.

Collaboration Tools

Microsoft Teams (direct or middleware), Microsoft Outlook, Google Workspace, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Red Hat SSO. Directory sync, presence, single sign-on.

Database Integration

Microsoft SQL Server and LDAP. Inbound calls trigger a database lookup by phone number, and the matching record displays on the answering user's screen.

Hotel PMS

Oracle Hospitality OPERA and any FIAS-compliant property management system. Guest-room calling, billing pass-through, wake-up calls, do-not-disturb, checkout-clear workflows.

Speech-to-Text

Built-in AI speech-to-text for call and voicemail transcription, plus third-party STT API support for businesses with an existing transcription provider.

Virtual Fax

Send and receive faxes over the internet via online fax providers. No analog fax machine, no dedicated fax line, no paper jams. Per-line add-on.

IP Intercoms

Hikvision, Dahua, 2N, and Akuvox door-entry intercoms. Visitor presses the intercom, call rings to a designated answering point, remote unlock from the phone or softphone.

How Integration Setup Works

From quote to first connected workflow.

01

Scope

Which systems do you actually use today, and which integration features matter? Click-to-call only, or full bidirectional sync? We size the integration during the initial quote, not after the contract.

02

Authenticate

You provide credentials or grant OAuth access to the systems we're connecting. We never store your master credentials in plaintext, integration uses scoped service accounts where possible.

03

Configure

We map your CRM fields, set the screen-pop behavior, configure call logging back into your system, and pick the directory-sync direction (one-way or bidirectional).

04

Test

Place test calls in both directions. Confirm screen pops fire, contact records auto-create, and call logs land where they should. We don't go live until each integration is verified.

05

Train + Support

15-30 minute walkthrough for your team. Common integration questions covered: how click-to-call works, what happens to anonymous callers, when records auto-create vs. require manual entry.

Integrations FAQ

Common questions from NYC business owners.

Which CRMs does the LightningVoIP phone system integrate with?

Six named CRMs out of the box: HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho, Odoo, and Bitrix24. We also support custom CRM integrations via REST API for systems not on the standard list. Standard features across all of them include click-to-call from the CRM, inbound call pop-up with caller record, contact directory sync, and call-record logging back into the CRM.

Does it integrate with Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Microsoft Teams integration is supported either directly or through middleware, depending on your Teams licensing. The integration brings PSTN calling, click-to-call from Teams, presence sync, and call routing into the Teams client. We scope your specific Teams setup during onboarding.

What about Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?

Both. Microsoft 365 / Outlook contacts and calendar are supported, along with full Google Workspace integration for directory sync. For single sign-on, we support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Red Hat SSO.

What helpdesk systems are supported?

Zendesk and Zoho Desk are supported with click-to-call and ticket-from-call workflows. Custom helpdesk integrations are also possible via our custom integration template. Most NYC SMBs running a helpdesk are on one of these two platforms.

My business uses a database for customer lookups. Can the phone system tie into it?

Yes. We support Microsoft SQL Server and LDAP for inbound call contact lookups. When a call comes in, the system queries your database by phone number and displays the matching record. Useful for back-office workflows where the customer history lives outside a CRM.

I run a hotel. Can the phone system integrate with my property management system?

Yes. We support Oracle Hospitality OPERA and any other FIAS-compliant PMS. The integration handles guest-room calling, billing pass-through, do-not-disturb, wake-up calls, and checkout-clear workflows. The hospitality industry page has more detail on hotel-specific configurations.

Does it support door access or intercoms?

Yes. We integrate with the four major IP intercom brands: Hikvision, Dahua, 2N, and Akuvox. A visitor presses the intercom, the call rings to the front desk or a designated answering point, and remote unlock is available right from the phone or softphone. Common ask for property management, dental, and medical practices with secured-entry waiting rooms.
